Meet Dr. Josh Engel

Joshua W. Engel, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he graduated with Honors in 2002. He earned his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Dr. Engel is a proud American Optometric Association member. He has practiced in Lincoln for the past 21 years and joined Bethany Vision Clinic in July 2016. His professional approach is evidence-based medicine, and he continually strives to utilize the most technologically advanced contact lenses and spectacle lens materials to improve his patients’ quality of life.

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Engel enjoys golfing, traveling, Husker Athletics, spending time with his wife and three children, and volunteering at his local church.
